Springtime is the DC Besttime

Finally we've hit consistent days of mid 70s and sunny. The New England in me feels like this could all be a big trick, but the cherry blossoms are thinking about poking out and the winter clothes are slowly making their way to a box under the bed.

This past week has been beautiful and very busy at work with a university group. With the beginning of March came, at last, consolidation of AILA and GSI on the 4th floor, putting me back in the same desk (after three moves) I started at 13 months prior. Full circle. This has allowed us to explode upward in activity again, which has made March a flurry of action so far. As roles and staff settle more, things will only improve.

The above pictures are from a recent Low Anthem show. Excellent, as always. It was my third time seeing them live and the first time since they added their fourth member. He plays a mean saw. I was able to scrounge up a souvenir pick too, which will keep Broken Social Scene and the Arcade Fire ones company.

Anyway, I'm in shorts, a tshirt, flipflops, and it's time for dinner out on the porch. First ultimate game of the season tomorrow. Amanda comes Tuesday for the second half of spring break. Let's hope this weather continues.
